There's something on my mind
It's been haunting all my thoughts
And I just don't understand it
How can I be so distraught
How can I worry for someone else
When I shoudl be worried about me
They'll show me all their scars
Why won't I let them see?
Why won't I tell them what's wrong?
Why won't I tell them I might die?
I guess, it's because they want to
Yet, everynight I cry
I cry because I used to be them
I cry because I care
I cry because they have no strength
To challenge life's little dare
All this pain is on my mind
Making me so blue
I guess I just don't understand
How everyone can throw away the one thing I'm trying to hold on to
