Hiccups jump out of my throat,
as you stare into my soul.
I'm so nervous when I'm around you.
Yeah, it was only a minute you were near,
but it was a short eternity to me, and I fear
that your eyes see right through me.
And I wonder,
am I who you want more than anyone else?
Because that's what you mean to me.
I can't even say anything, I just smile,
and trying to think, my mind's denial,
of giving me something to talk about.
Nothing.
I hear you speak one word,
and still it echoes through my head.
That single word that you had said,
made my day so much better.
Just thinking of you,
hiccups jump out of my throat.
