Quite Like You
February 5, 2005

Nobody knows this quite like you,
I can't show my love like I used to.
If it's not you, it's not anyone,
What I gave to you cannot be outdone.
How selfish my heart is to not share,
With the future loves waiting out there.
Time and opportunities past by,
Been told I'm loved, but unable to reply.
I wonder why you got the best I had,
But turned from me, from all of that?
Clearly moved on, left me behind,
My mind knows this but my heart must be blind.
I have given my love to a seldom few,
But why now is no one quite like you?
