The thing I love

Contributed by shadowed_soul on Sunday, 6th February 2005 @ 01:12:09 PM in AEST
Topic: PetPoems

My heart fills with joy as I see her face.
She runs towards me when i'm in her grace.
I swoop her up and kiss her dearly.
She means everything to me clearly.
When I see old pictures of us,
I give a slight smile as I remember the fuss.
Her voice is so sweet,
Being with her is a treat.
It is obvious I love her,
right down to her furr.
My friend. My dog.

I was grinning from ear to ear when I finished this..and I needed the cheering up. My dog just came home filled with mud.. if I go away she jumps the fence and gets in puddles.. yet... she doesn't like to get in the pool.. could it be spite? because I'm gone???????
