alzheimers comes in many packages nice and not so nice
most people dont want to talk about the not so nice
they cant bring themselves to admit to the violence
it does happen and sometimes is a part of alzheimers
when your loved one becomes the other alzheimers
they are all sweet confused darlings but there is a downside
sometimes the destruction of the brain triggers violence
it is not nice and can have deadly reprocussions
it is something you dont play games with it can be deadly
when your loved one becomes the other alzheimers
its hard to know when this starts or how to stop
medications should be able to control if you find it in time
but finding them in time is the big question
when they are violent there is nothing wrong with them
when your loved one becomes the other alzheimers
if the violence gets out of hand what next
it is so hard to make a decision against a loved one
but the protection of others is at stake here
and if those others are children what choice do you have
when your loved one becomes the other alzheimers

| I work at and adult day care where we take care of Alzheimers clients all day. I know exactly what you are talking about here. You should read one of my poems called Alzheimers misery... Good Write :) |
