I'm So Glad

Contributed by bonita2689 on Monday, 7th February 2005 @ 08:39:42 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I dont want you to wipe away the tears
just wipe away the years
I spent wishing you were my only
let me bask in my lonliness
I'd rather not fight it
I'll take the ride to the bottom
and when I get there, I'll enjoy it
I don't need you to say I'm sorry
I'm so relieved I don't have to worry
anymore about where this is going
or why I'm living
I'm glad I can breathe again
I'm glad I can see again
you had me blind
and whipped around your finger
I'd come crawling to you
and there I'd linger
until you spat
your empty words
but I'm glad I know now
my illness has been cured
I'm no longer in love with you
and my life is changing for the better
I'm glad I can leave you behind
and let go of you forever

i'm glad you were able to move on and really see this guy for who he is.
sometimes we are blinded by our emotions and then when it ends we realize how stupid we've been...
that's the way it is for me at least...
