Water and shade, proving unwholesome will bring you pain
Acts of untrustworthy friends will bring you bane
Dread not the foes, who as swords drawn, may appear
But for friendship of foes, who seem like kinsmen, you fear!
Beware of the hidden hate and guard thy life
In troublous times, it will wound deeper than potter`s knife
If secret enmities arise, that makes the mind pervert
Then even kin, unkind will work thee grievous hurt!
Amid one`s relatives if hidden hate arise
It will impose, hurt even in deadly wise
If discord find with those with whom you dwelt before
It is ever hard to keep destruction from the door!
As casket and its cover live one in other always
No union will be in the house where concealed hate has sways
As like gold, with which the containing file is worn away
Strength of house dwellers where hate is concealed has sway!
Though slight as shred of sesame seed it be
Destruction lurks in hidden enmity
Domestic life with those who don`t agree
Is like dwelling in a shed with snake for company!
