Ill stand up for the worthy cause.
Ill bear the cross upon my shoulders.
Put an end to hateful laws,
Because this world cant get much colder.
Im not like the rest of you.
I dont hide my face in the darkness.
Ill do what I always knew
Would lead us to happiness.
Dont follow someones word,
Let yourself be heard.
Fulfill your own desires.
Dont follow someones lead,
You know what you need.
Inner strength is what inspires
Ill protect the sick and helpless.
The faintest cry I wont ignore.
Lifes too short to be too cautious,
So Id do these things and more.
I promise to the world,
Ill do these things I say.
Ill promise to the world,
But let someone else lead the way

Isn't this the truth. Now, more than ever, I think, determination is needed, to get out of the apathetic prison so many have locked themselves in, and fulfill Life, and Destiny. Well done, this poem, and beautiful, the message it conveys.

Phenominal!! Absolutely wonderful, this was excellent Marc. The concept was comepletely and utterly amazing the ending was brilliant, and a good tie in to the beginning (which was also phenominal) the whole thing flowed so nicely and the message held a little story to it and .. it ws just wonderful!
