in life I fear the worst can happen
love thats lost never regained
feelings felt never disclosed
and having to live to the end in pain
knowing once there was a chance
to learn and change
to save our dying romance
because in my heart
one thing I do know
there was love so deep
that I could have shown
life without her would just be an existence
not much different than a rock or a tree
trying to live would be met with strong resistance
happiness would be a thing of the past
I just know that our love
is something that could last
given the truth
given forgiveness
given trust
given one last chance
but how can I ask when so many times
I promised the same and it all was lines
anything to make her stay
without giving her ,her way
not that she asked for much
love and loyalty
I required as much
I cannot ask her to forgive
but without it dont know how I can live
so my option seams to go only one way
and that is to end my stay
here on the land of broken dreams
but when I think
Thats not an option it seams
cause in this world
we know there are ghosts
all around standing post
waiting and yearning for the day
that they can be free of the pain
how long will they stand
how long will they wait
its seams eternity
could be there fate
that could be me if I give in
so I guess there is only one way to win
I have to fight
fight with all of my might
to keep this woman in my life
I have to prove that she is the one
something I feel I should have always done
I will probably lose,
I know I will cry
I know it will hurt
even to try
but if lose I guess at least for her
justice be done to the wicked
