I hardly know you Youre only but an acquaintance And for only a few short moments we converse Yet within those moments Youve made me laugh Youve made me cry Twisting my emotions And entangling them in my mind I can no longer understand what I feel But I know that what youve left in me Is more than what Ive felt before And when I try to push it out It just wont leave Even as months pass by Still this feeling wont diminish As much as I try to let you go I cant Until I am broken inside And the pain youve caused me becomes more than I can bear And finally I let you slip away Letting go of what I once held so dear

What a fabulous first post, Somario. I like this a lot. It tugs at me... and reminds me - just how powerful a moment can be. *sigh*
Welcome to YPDC, Somario!!
Nicely done!

Great poem. Most moment people try to forget... they erase bad memories from their mind... if you know what I mean. This poem would bring them back, which reflects how great it is...
