Dear Mr. Addiction

Topic: drugabuse

Dear Mr. Addiction,

Hey ! Mr. Addiction
Look at what you've done!
You made me believe your lies
And now my life is gone

You fed me pills like candy
I believed you could take away the pain
You did nothing but help me drown
I constantly, always fien

You took syringes to my arm
Fed me your Liquid Love
So little for so much harm
My soul is like a blak dieing Dove.

I was constantly running from life
From a life on an insane run
Something lurked from behind your smile
You shoot me with your invisble gun

I pray until I go numb
Hoping you'll soon fade away
Stopped playing with dolls and picked up your Monster Dreams
My quick fixes and cold nights linger on day by day

These stars will burn on in agony
As I bleed to death inside
Please Mr. Addiction let me go
Because from the truth I can no longer hide

I'll promise these old promises once more
You left me afraid and metally sick
These pin dot pupils and a red glazed heart
Will no longer continue to tick!

I have to get away from you!!

Alina
