When I am in this state of mind
All I think about is the mistakes I've made in my time
Nothing will change the way I feel right now
Cause I know I have let myself down
I put my trust in someone I thought I knew
But in the end it all came unglued
All they did was pull the wool over my eyes
And told me a heap of lies
Now that I have found out the truth
I myself do not know what to do
Cause no matter what I do
I am always gonna lose
When I am in this state of mind
All I think about is the mistakes I've made in my time
Nothing will change the way I feel right now
Cause I know I have let myself down
The same thing is happening over and over again
Nothing can stop it flowing through my head
No one knows what has happened to me
And that is how I would like it to be
I know I sometimes take it out on you
Nothing could be more true
But I really don't mean what I say
It's just that nothing seems to go my way
When I am in this state of mind
All I think about is the mistakes I've made in my time
Nothing will change the way I feel right now
Cause I know I have let myself down
You know the sadist thing about all of this?
It's the fact that I actually cared about you
And you yourself never gave a *****
Cause your love was never deep and true
You left saying that I have no real friends
And that I need to get a life
But I think in the end
Your the one that needs to look inside

| Aw, this was a sad write though very expressive. ""I am always gonna lose" is something some people tell themselves that can lead to the basis for depression to build on. It was for me at one time. Anyway, feelings of loss are very well expressed here. Keep writing. Blessings. |
