Skin became as ice
One gaze chilled the heart and bone
Your eyes melted me
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fire deep within
Ravaged long controlling hold
Spirit was released
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Taken from dark dreams
Thrust into this world of life
You became my guide
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Feather touch of breath
Filled lungs long deprived of air
Made me come alive
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bathing arid flesh
Rain fell from concern filled eyes
Watering feelings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Emotions released
From encapsulating stone
Senses now reeling

Overwhelming odds
Separated souls unite
Mated once again

Trusting life to fate
Destiny revealed in time
Unconcerned with when

Lost for ages past
Knowing now where I belong
Salvation replete

Love has been restored
Crossing planes of existence
Journey is complete
