no one cares

Contributed by sheigha on Tuesday, 10th December 2002 @ 10:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Tottering on the edge of sanity, do I do it?
No one cares
I try to think things through but everything is moving too fast
I search for a loving face in those scurrying around me
No one's looking, no one cares
I look for hope
I long for love
I listen for just one voice calling out my name
No one's speaking, No one's looking, No one cares
I make my final attempt to find a reason to stay
But there is none
I say goodbye to all around me; the peope, the places, the pain
And then I am gone, my final thought:
No one's trying, no one's speaking, no one's looking, no one cares

Welcome to ypdc... Honestly, I find this very well done. I can feel the indecision and the longing/hope in your poem. I can only hope that this is fictional....

There's really nothing to this poem. You need to make it more descriptive and interesting. Really listen to your heart..
