It's the same old, same old
Running through my mind
I know it's there somewhere
But it's one thing I can't seem to find
The pen is collecting dust
The paper is turning yellow-ish
The ink is drying out
My thoughts will soon diminish
No motivation, no inspiration
My creativity has deserted me
Are my dreams taking a vacation?
Or do they hit and run freely?
I have so much surrounding me
So why can't I find something to write about?
Life's going on, I get through the day
There's just nothing happening right now
Everything just sounds alike
My ideas are chained up and locked
So there's only one thing to write about
I'll write about my writer's block

| lol i love the inspiration for this poem. I've contemplated doing sumthing along these lines for a while, but i never thought i culd do it justice. Nice work here. |
