Ive read the heart is treacherous
And I agree today
My heart turned its back on me
Leading me astray
I wasted this fragile heart on him
As he ripped open my chest
Violently crushing this heart
The way he likes it best!
Still and constantly it calls
Crying out for more
More so- called love I guess
But I cant continue anymore
I think about how people say
You should always follow your heart
But does it truly guard you from hurt
Or deceive you from the start?
I find it hard to see myself
Loving another person again
Because my heart launches forth lies
And grants me nothing but pain
Ive read the heart is treacherous
And I agree today
I will trust you no more
Never again, come what may
