I slowly fall into the lake
Everything seems real instead of fake
Now as I stop to breathe
The pain starts to leave
Your face flashes past my eyes
You and me, the only ones aware of the lies
You're already gone, I've come to join you
I'm leaving this place where nothing's true
My lungs seem to want to burst
But I'm so numb nothing hurts
The coppery smell of blood fills my head
Reminding me how much I bled
It seems such a short time ago
We were skating on this lake, playing with the snow
But since then years have passed
I knew our happiness wouldn't last
So now as I stop breathing
The pain keeps leaving
You're the last thing I think of
I wonder if I was the last thing you thought of
