Shadowed By Memories
The glare
From the sun
Reflects in my eyes
As specks of dust
Illuminate time
But with a blink
The forgotten past
Resurfaces to present
And all the memories
Are no longer history
But future misery
The sun's glare
Is always going to be there
And I'll blink my life away
Unless sunbeams stray
To the secrets

Oh gosh, I felt every word of that one. You have hit upon something seldom touched upon. That endless mourning...the past that betrays the future and all the days it has cursed. Nice stuff. Very impressive.
