Hypochondriac Diagnosis

Contributed by dtborchert on Friday, 11th February 2005 @ 11:40:41 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

Theres a growl in my tummy,
It could be a bear.
Theres a growl in my tummy,
I mean it, I swear.

Theres a ring in my ears,
It sounds like a fly.
Theres a ring in my ears,
What if I die?

My head is a pounding,
It feels like a hammer,
My head is a pounding,
Am I starting to stammer?

Theres an itch on my leg,
Feels like poison oak.
Theres an itch on my leg-
Could this be a stroke?

Theres a hitch in my stride,
I walk with a limp.
Theres a hitch in my stride,
Theyll call me a gimp.

Oh please Mr. Doctor,
Dont turn away,
I need further testing,
Right now, TODAY!

He said he agreed,
It needs to be soon.
But Im in the psych ward-
He thinks Im a loon.
