Distance

Topic: dedicatedpoems

I can't get you out of my mind
And I think about you all the time
I wish there was someway we could be together
Distance is the only thing that separates us from being forever

I want to be the one to erase all of your pain
And swallow all the scars that still remain
I want to be the one to hold you tight
On those cold and lonely nights

I want to be the one to put a smile on your face
When you no longer feel like the world is a safe place
I want to be the one that you feel
As you body slowly starts to heal

I can't get you out of my mind
And I think about you all the time
I wish there was someway we could be together
Distance is the only thing that separates us from being forever

I want to be the one that mends your heart
When you feel like your breaking apart
And if you feel like you have no reason to be
Just look deep inside and you will find me

I want to be the one to give you the power
To get through those who want to devour
And I would make the ultimate sacrifice
Just to know you could go on living you life

I can't get you out of my mind
And I think about you all the time
I wish there was someway we could be together
Distance is the only thing that separates us from being forever

I want to be the one to wipe away all of your tears
And be the one to fight away all of your fears
And if anyone ever tries to hurt you in anyway
Then I will teach them a lesson in the art of pain

I want to be there through the good and the bad times
To reassure myself that you will always be mine
And I just wanted you to know the truth
Which is that I honestly do love you
