Her rosy pink dress lies atop the green grass Long brown hair wisps in the wind A kind hand strokes the skinny white body Sprawled out, A paint mare, The green prairie so full of color and peacefulness The sky light blue spotted with appeasing white clouds A small knoll watches over As the horse exhales its last breath The life has been drained, but her love will never fade.
