We talked today about love again
and why you find it such a sin
youv'e been hurt so many times
even almost more than i
i understand you so easily
could it be you think like me
one thing i know is this
there is one thing my life does miss
i miss love and all its parts
filling my now empty heart
i miss the joy that i was in
how can you find it such a sin
i wonder now that i know how you think
i know why your heart does sink
you think that there is not one for you
but i know that this is not true
we each seek one that thinks like us
blinded by a cruel ones touch
could the answer be infront of us
how do i say this i can not know
why when we talk do our words flow
so easily off my tongue i can speak to you
i want to ask you should we try
we understand our thoughts so clear
should we old each other dear
friend or more i do not know
dare i ask?
