I searched the sky
And deepest sea
To try to find
What was sent to me
Lost, alone
Sent adrift
Was sent to me
A precious gift
Having abandoned the search
Alone in life
Was sent to me
My loving wife
My heart empty
With naught to give
Was sent to me
The reason to live
The deepest scar
Her heart did bear
Was sent to me
A love so fair
My life has changed
My soul set free
Due to the gift
That was sent to me
