Dont forget the dinner parties

When your moon for me sinks below the sky
And no longer comes up when the sun goes to rest
All we have are our lonesome days around the table

Laugh all you will with the people around us
Smile at their bad jokes a million times told
Wish that everything would stop sleeping in lies

Dont forget the dinner parties
Dont forget to smile
Dont forget to always say I love you too

Long after the stars stop shinning for you
Ill curl up beside you in bed
Wishing your warmth reached me

Put on this show of our love
Playing the part of someone who cares
So no one will see the knife in my back
