Sitting in yur chair with you head in your hands, You're the only one I see, And you're the courageous self doubt inside me; But I'll do my best t try and understand,
The gentle emerald pools of your eyes, And flawed perfection of your face, And your mouth speaking full of grace, With ever present sighs.
So when you walk out there in the cold, And are watching the passing cars, Remember that you shine brighter than the stars, While you look to buy what has been sold.
Do you think I could stay? I can't bring myself to leave, While the smell of your hair haunts my cotton sleeve; I still don't know what to say,
And I'm sure my awkward words will fail. So pay no attention when people stare, Between you and them I see no reason to compare; Because you're the reason I walked through the hail,
So when you're tired and ready to sleep, And the soft rhythm of your breath, reminds me of my fear of death, I'll keep you warm with the blankets you keep.
While we sleep in the womb and are safe, Will you still think that you are alone? While I think that I'm home? And it reminds me of my fear of life.
In the bathing glow of morning, You're the lovely miracle I dare not shake, Unaware of this moment as I lie awake, Wanting the passing of time to cease flowing.
In the years far from now when you are gone, Will you remember me as some faded apparition? Will you give me no more thought than some superstition? For now I can only wait or the break of dawn.

This is a great write! Watch your spelling at the beginning though. Lovely emotions portrayed, you have talent!

being a true romanticist... i cannot even begin to express my feelings, evoked by this piece.
My lips were gaped wide open as i read from line to line, my heart squeezing violently...
This is so beautiful... i havent been moved like this in such a long time.
