Pretty bird fly
High in the sky
Spread your wings
Soar through the air
Without a care
With the song you sing
Free spirits like yours
Need to explore
What only freedom can bring
Your chains are gone
I release your bond
Its time to spread your wings
Pretty bird fly
High in the sky
Go wherever you like to roam
Maybe someday
Youll find your way
Back to the place you call home

I wrote something like this once. It was called Never to Know. I like yours better though because my bird chose to stay grounded.
