Idiosyncrasies of a winter snow
Anxiously fall upon her brow
Talented words, skipping beside her perked ears
Awaiting a secret, troubled wonderfully of love
Snow angels laughing in the sparkled rays of heat
Sun drenched, frozen; abandoned by her warmth
Are shapeless to her form, faceless, deserted
Mocking the joy, vanishing with each wind
Colorless white blowing frost bruising her cheeks
She giggles as the chill shoots through her
His eye intense frustration, claiming her soul
With only the glare of deceitful lust
Approaching feet crunch the newly fallen snow
The heat from his mouth scorches her face
Foreign words, English formed hiss out
Love disappearing from her inner thoughts
Shocking truth melts the hopeful snowflakes
As the footprints of moments ago
Form the perfect line of his departure
