Perfection - Today and Always
To me a perfect day wold hold
the beauty of small things
A swaying field of flowers full,
Blue skies, and birds to sing
This day would fill my soul with
Peace, with solitude and joy
And I would wade in gurgling streams,
The world would be my toy
This day of perfect glory, of
Sunny skies and trees of green
With butterflies and bumblebees
And other mundane things
Would hold for me the hope of life,
As God had wished it so
And even though this day would end,
Perfection I would know
