Requiem
Wrapped in broken glass
A hollow existence
As love lies bleeding
And empathy fades
While your eyes reflect the memories
Of a shattered yesterday
Stricken with numbness
In the depths of despair
Cry for forgiveness
The last dying prayer

I love the word use. Good write
