his fist kissed her face and the fragile butterfly wings crumpled before the shatter of the jaw and the glass shards lit the room ablaze,
and her broken body bled a thousand, a thousand apologies for something she had never done; the eternities of wrongs never committed.
standing bedazzled in the chamber of his own undoing gazing at the broken being cast at his own feet, the ears that never cared to listen heard the soul depart with her last "I love you."
and the flash of steel acrost the room drew him like a moth to its flame before the sparks of the fire simply became one last memory.
