I'm lost in you....confused by your mind
you remind me of a river
constantly flowing....constantly changing
sometimes deep and mysterious
sometimes shallow and clear to the bottom
never the same two days in a row....or two seconds.
This is where confusion grips me like an undertow
pulling me far away as I struggle to swim back to reality
you're always changing....flowing
yet you're flowing within dams carefully built blocking entrance to all love....care
you're stuck within your watery prison.
I stand above....soaking wet....watching....waiting
pointing to cracks and loose boards that would allow you to freely move on
yet you pass by with only a few drops seeping through the cracks
a few drops to join me on the other side.
Others freely flow towards me
allowing all to show through in crystal clear waves
you rage and slam the walls
yet you stay within your confinement....your dams
even when the open space of which you could flow lie at your soakin feet.

| this was a really cool poem, it was really neat to read...I enjoyed it a lot.....and yes, that is very ironic...sorry to hear he died :( |
