I wish that I wouldn't have to hide in the shadows,
I wish my invisibility didn't work so well,
I wish people saw the inner me,
The one that I can't seem to share,
I hope someday I can do,
Stand up and talk,
Be something,
Be someone,
And say what's on my mind,
Maybe its how I look,
Not real pretty or outgoing,
Maybe I need to lose weight,
Or dye my hair back to blonde,
Should I change for them?
Or should I stay myself?
I'm not sure,
I need to think,
But years of thinking couldn't help me,
So why would it change anything now?
I'm not sure,
So all I can do,
Is wait,
Wait to be something else but me!
