The insanity of one Voice, breaking the night Bursting forth from candlelight Formed shadows That seem to know By voice alone, it can be so
The insanity of one Night, in solitude Turning dark to something new And different When it is spent The night alone, with shared intent
The insanity of one Heart, not knowing how To speak above a whisper now That time has stood With rosewood A heart alone, knew how it could
One voice, one night, one heart In lonely bliss Lonesome not with Insanitys kiss
(Thank you) ~Snemmy~

This is beautiful. There's no other word for it really, well, except brilliant, incredible, excellent... so okay, there's plenty of words. Inspirational is one that stands out mostly though.
Very nicely done.
Take Care

One voice, one night, one heart
In lonely bliss
Lonesome not with
Insanity’s kiss
I have felt this and been glad of it.
The loneliness doesn't last forever, but making friends with it is a very good feeling.

I love this poem. Haven't we all felt insane at one point in our lives? You've caught the essence of insanity. |

Your comment on top makes me doubt the images this write potrays as being what you are trying to convey.
But to me at least I picture you reading poems by one of your favorite authors, late at night with the candles lit, all alone and completely happy about it,
and that I can relate to! |

Lets say, just this once, I try to some up with one word, what I just read ...
Uhm, nope it can't be done ... so I'll share some insightful words from TSO ...
"...NO ONE ELSE WOULD UNDERSTAND IT
WE WOULD KNOW THE GODS HAD PLANNED IT
AND FOR SUCH A NIGHT AS THIS
THAT THEY GAVE MEMORY..."
Perhaps with every lit candle hence forth, the memory of Insanity's Kiss shall burn as well.
And no, Thank You, for sharing your gift with us.

I hate to repate what everyone else has said but this is stunning.
I did get the same image as the other Phil, I'm sure the actual image you had in mind is just as beautiful.
This is a masterpiece my friend,
We all have to be insane sometimes.
*hugs* Phil xxx |

I think your wonder blew through that wood once, from where my scarecrow stares . . . it is correlative of the emotion, the insanity of singing sky-scaring lullabies through the canopies of one's imagination . . .
And of course, I love it. |
