I used to have so many dreams
Now I dont have any
Time is slowly slipping away
I used to think I had plenty
I watch a girl walk by
With tears flownin down her cheeks
They call her stupid
And they yell, calling her weak
They dont know her struggles
And they dont try to see
What causes all her troubles
They just let her be
Theres a young boy
That wants to run away
Not from home or the law
But from another day
His friends didnt try to stop him
They didnt say a word
Now hes giving up completely
He only wanted to be heard
I used to be just like them
Then I found an escape
Now Im back in their place
Tryin to find the way

| omigosh.....this was really good, the first stanza i can relate to. and when i see people make fun of others when they haven't a slightest clue what they've gone through kills me. excellent write |

| Thanks a lot. Im glad you can relate to it, thats my goal..writing poems that people and identify with. And yea, it does hurt seeing other people torment others when they dont know anything about them..even when its not us, somehow..it still hurts.. |
