I've grown so much
In so little time
Yet you still continue to see
The me that's not there
It hurts from someone so brilliant
To think of me so dumb
I loved you like no one else could
And you took it for granted
Now you think you're better off
When I'm the one that was reached
Untouched you think you're alright
But where my fingerprints lie
Is where you know you won't be the same
And that's how I know
When you stare aimlessly into the sky
Knowing that you're friends are dead alive
You're confused as hell
And know I'm behind the door
Towards a greater past and future
That you will never remember nor forget
Because you never believe what you have is true
And it wasn't until me
Since you thought it was unbareable
Look at the unlighted streets
And see the stars in the sky
You'll turn to a different universe
Because that's where your mind is at
You think you're always in control
But this time it's the stars leading your way
To the universe you've been to before
That always leave you the same
Too bad you're so brilliant
Yet see me so dumb
