I am her, She is me...

Contributed by Clocks on Sunday, 20th February 2005 @ 06:24:37 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I am nothing,
But I feel everyhting.

How do I explain something so complex,
Where does one begin to tell the story in they're minds,
Without being sucked in again by the deadly vortex,
With it's twist and turns, it brings itself into chaos as it unwinds.

I'd like to be as simple as a child,
Not having to think deeper than someone's eyes,
Everytime I do I hope the damage is only mild,
And I hope what I do isn't echoed by my ancestor's cries.

I hope I never let anyone down,
I hope what's inside me never escapes the safety of my head,
Like a broken princess wearing her gorgeous gown,
No one notices, until she takes it off when she goes to bed.

She feels everything at the same time,
And yet noone ever notices,
She is nothing.
If she slips, If she let's go, It'll be a though up-hill climb,
Because then everyone will have noticed.

But it will have been too late,
Because no one can understand what she feels,
Nobody can explain the chain of events,
That take place that were all caused by her confusing fate.

And as she falls and loses everything,
She feels so alone,
Because no one wants to help her,
Everyone is gone.

Left alone with nothing but memories,
Swimming around in her clouded mind,
No on can try to see what she sees,
Because no one knows her,
She is left for no one to find.

She is nothing,
But she feels everything...

This is a very interesting write...I really like this part here:

"Left alone with nothing but memories,
Swimming around in her clouded mind,
No on can try to see what she sees,
Because no one knows her,
She is left for no one to find."

Great write
