There is a growing love
Between God and me
I find it every time
I fall upon my knee
Thru the power of prayer
He holds me in warm embrace
Uplifting my lowly spirit
Encouraging it by grace
Together we share our love
With an open and honest heart
Prayer calms the fears of my soul
By the peace it does impart
In prayer I feel His smile
His touch, tender and kind
A tremendous blessing it is
No greater will I find
The power of prayer
A precious gift to me
Preparing my heart
To love eternally
