I cant sleep
What a surprise
Always a fright
When I open my eyes.
I see the world
As it truly is
And how humans act in it
Then wish theyd quickly disappear.
These wide eyes wont close
And this closed heart wont open
This dream keeps coming
With my eyes wide open.
Its all a blur
It happens so fast
Lifes taken for granted
Then one day its your last.
Like I said
I cant sleep
My eyes are wide open
This dream keeps coming
Lifes taken for granted
And today is my last.
