Many things about tomorrow,
I dont seem to understand,
But I know who holds tomorrow,
And I know who holds my hand.
Simple words from a song,
Yet theyre not simple at all,
They mean so much to me,
For its on the Lord that I humbly call.
My future looks so uncertain,
As I look with these earthly eyes,
My valleys way too barren,
My rivers way too wide.
Theres no way that I can do this,
I cant face tomorrow by myself,
I place my faith in You, Oh God,
And I know You want to help.
And though I know theres things about tomorrow,
That I wont ever understand,
Lord, Im giving You my tomorrow,
And Im glad Youre holding my hand.
