There I stand,
On my own,
There are people around me,
but i am still alone.
I talk and laugh,
but i do not feel,
I just wear my facade,
my resignation i seal.
Outside I am calm,
with pleasing things to say,
While inside i am screaming,
I want to run - get away.
How can I last?
How much can I take?
How will i survive?
Much more I can't take!
Inside I become empty,
I just want to fade,
but I'll lifelessly move on,
Until in a hole, I am laid.
For now I will stand,
all on my own.
With people around me,
though I am still alone.

nice poem,I think we can all relate to your poem for who has not felt emptiness and loneliness at one time or another in their lives.
