Depression my old friend thank you for coming back to me
I didn't realize just how much I'd missed you in my life
My heart is once again aching and filled with grief
And you like always are there to help hold the knife
That is twisting and jabbing it's way to my soul
I don't know if anyone has really noticed your back
But I can feel you wrapping me in a huge black hole
Once again I've fallen into the wrong track
Can't seem to dig myself out of it oh how strong you are
Grasping and dragging me back ever so slowly
Will you tell me this time how long and how far
I will fall before piecing myself back to be me
Hey world take a look at me now
What do you think of this thing that I am?
