It's the connection that we share
the twinkle in your eyes when you stare
the time spent
the moments of silence
the way I can be myself with you.
It's the way we can just be silly
the way we can cuddle together
the comforting feeling when we're near.
It's the way you make me feel
the way you hug me
the way you show me you care.
It's the knowing, the understanding,
the honesty, the trust, the loving,
the caring and the sharing.
It's the something special that we have.

What a truly lovely poem. You certainly have described something quite beautiful between two human beings that is rare in these times.
i don't know about everyone but i know i loved it and enjoyed the emotional feel of this little
masterpeice. Most beautiful, thank you for the

It is great that you took the time to write a poem honoring that special person in your life. Relationships with friends are often overlooked, but without friends we would sad and lonely people.
