At night I cry
Torn between truth from lie
Denying to myself
That this life is not real
I whisper your name
into the darkness
Listening for your voice
Silence echoes through these walls
Making a deafening sound
Your words can not be heard
You've given up on me
Shutting me out
Ignoring my final cry
I slip into the darkness of
your gloomy heart
The coldness chills my soul
The warmth is lost
Somewhere in the bitter truth
My reality is losing grip
On the firm hold I once had
on this merciless pain
End this wretched suffering
Slay this person inside
I no longer wish to be
Who I am is no longer me
Guilty for telling you a lie
Killing the memories we once shared
Taking away my life
Giving me shame in return
Never regretting those words you speak
Sorry is no more
What is life worth living for
I can't take this anymore
You're replacing me with selfishness
Desperately wishing for me to leave you alone
Running as fast as I can away from your words
Falling and getting back up
Getting back up, falling back down
Disguising my turmoil
Hiding from it's shadows
Crying your name one last time
I fade away into nonexistence
