Love and Hate go hand in hand
Strongest feelings in the race of man
So many in this world
Neglect their power
It'll fling back in your face
proving you're none other than a coward
Love and Hate go hand in hand
My one wish
is for those words to be banned
Upon the crystal podium they lay
Ignite them
Fight them
Until they go away
Love and Hate go hand in hand
Once said it's there just like a command
Deny the order
You're not obliged to say it back
Deny the order
Ignore the attack
Love and Hate go hand in hand
Leaving you thinking
Sorrowfully blinking back the tears
How much more must you take
Take of the words, "Love and Hate"

| i agree totally.....ur poem speaks so much TRUTH... well done its great...theres a thin line between love and hate, both powerful emotions that can be easily manipulated |

Excellent. Its written perfectly and I love the repetition of the line "Love and Hate go hand in hand..." it really drives it home. A beautiful piece of writing. Thanks for sharing.
