Cleansed by the golden rain
Washed away time and again
All resolved as life takes it's turn
Banished for good ne'er to return
Forgiveness is granted. A past life at end
No longer the need to hide or pretend
Now, for a new past will enter in time
We'll be together, your heart and mine
Our distance wide, our connection unbroken
This lifetime of ours is our own love token
We'll carry the good and relinquish the rest
By knowing each other we're doing our best

Wow...this is fantastic...
I don't actually like alot of love poems, and I wrote my first one today (I think) but this is gorgeous.
I can't even think of my favourite lines,
