Red is the color that you see
Red describes you to me
As you cut through your veins
As you let go of your pain
Bleed
Bleed out your sorrow
Bleed your frustration
Bleed till tomorrow
Bleed
So with this my very knife
I will take my very life
In remembrance of you
I will do as you do
And if I were to die
Would I then be despised
Or would that be simply adding fuel
To the pain that burdens your soul
Bleed

So now I take the knife
The razor for my life
Comfort I hear it calling out my name
I am ready for the pain
As the blade eases in
I feel it underneath my skin
Slicing open veins
As the blood calls out my name
Deeper
Bleeding

Feeling
Nothing at all
Blood on the wall
Tears they are gone
Feelings are calm
Bleed
