Sitting awake near the cool glow
Of monitors humming

My fingers touching over keystrokes
like lovers clawing at clothes
only to be close.

Even though its raining
And we are miles apart the words we make are
turned to flesh

Drives and disks playing in my
Mess of emotional home

Upon a bed of scattered poets pages

Kelly! This is fabulous! Though... "sweet"... hmmmm... I didn't get 'sweet' when I read it. I mean that in a very good way.... it's... it's just MORE than that, heavier than that. Decribing this as sweet would seem to be missing everything except what's on the very surface of this... there is, I think, much more than that.
Call me clueless - but I have no idea what NIFOC is. Somehow though.... it didn't seem to matter that I didn't know.
