Im sorry you have to go through this
Im sorry we couldnt hide it,
Pretend everythings okay.
Im sorry you must suffer,
Be raised and grow up this way.
I know you dont understand a lot,
I know you want someone to blame,
You want this to be a game,
Someone win, someone lose
You want to leave with only a minor bruise.
Im sorry you have to listen to the fights,
Im sorry you have to live with a new dad
Im sorry you think its your fault,
Im sorry that I left,
But its what I had to do to survive.
You are strong. You can live,
You can get through anything.
You are young and full of energy.
Im getting weaker, and I cant take much more,
Im sorry I had to leave, but well still be family.
You are my sister
No matter what our parents do.
Youll be in my heart,
Well get by, just me and you.
Youll always be my sister,
Please remember this.
Mom and Dad messed up big,
There is nothing we can do
We didnt ruin anything,
You are the thing that kept mommy going.
You are the thing that keeps dad alive.
Its Mom and Dads mistake,
Dont take the blame,
They love you.
I love you.
We are sisters well get by.
If you want a game,
Then lets play.
They are all the bad guys,
We have to run away.
Hide all you can,
Cry away the hate.
This is a game
Made for us to win,
Sister, sister
Hand in hand.
We can do this.
Youll be my sister
No matter their mistakes,
Lets put them to blame,
Well beat this game.
We will win,
They will lose,
Well only have a minor bruise.
