Once in a blue moon it worked. Was the scenery an omen that was overlooked? Should we have paid more attention to the omnipresent nature telling us our chances of survival were few... Or are we stronger overcoming her foreboding signs telling us only this once We moved past that night of the second glowing moon on the damp grass - understars We moved past that night your hand slowly enclosing on mine continuing that walk through the sylvan canopy Were we wrong?

great poem... i'm in love with big words lol... so that made it much better.... but it would've been great without them too.... i liked the story it told... what i got from it was an empowering situation wandering through the forest, not looking back and such.... good job |

I love the feel of this. I love the sadness of the questions and the mood...the overwhelming sense of futility that has not quite overcome the sliver of hope.
