Can We Imagine

Contributed by maryetta on Sunday, 27th February 2005 @ 02:26:31 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

i sit here thinking never resolving anything i cant remember
do you remember who i am i cant anymore its too hard
its too hard to try and remember anythng at all anymore
it is so much easier just to go with the flow it has control
is this how it is for them can we imagine

i slam my fist into the wall so much rage i cant control
i dont know why i did it this anger has me in its clutches
but theres nothing wrong with me really just this one time
surely that doesnt mean somethings wrong im mostly in control
is this how it is for them can we inagine

i am frightened i dont know why all my friends are gone
i havent forgotten them yet why have they abandon me this way
do they know of my tears at this loneliness i suffer do they care
i know one day i will forget everything but not now i know
is this how it is for them can we imagine

sometimes i know everything and other times i dont
its when i do that all the pain starts i know i wont always
i see the joy when i do remember them and then the door closes
then i am no more and i dont know when ill be back again
is this how it is for them an we imagine

a few typos throughout the piece, and overall this was enjoyment to read.
